ராமாயணம் எழுதியபோது பல உண்மைகளை மறைத்து பாதி கற்ப னையிலேயே எழுதிவிட்டார்கள். அதை இப்போ சொன்னால் 
மதவா திகள் ஏற்று கொள்ள மாட்டார்கள். ராமா யணம் நடந்த காலத்தில் தமிழ்நாடும் இலங்கையும் ஒரே நில பரப்பாகவே இரு ந்தது. பிறகு ஏற்பட்ட இயற்கை சீற்றத்தா ல் இலங்கையாக பிளவுபட்டது. ஆனால் முழுமையாக பிளவுபடவில்லை.தற்போ து கடலுக்கு அடியில் ராமர் பாலம் என்று சொல்ல படுகிற அந்த இடம். கடலுக்கு மேலே இருந்தது. அதிலே மக்கள் போக்கு வாரத்து இருந்தது. பின்பு ஏற்பட்ட இயற் கை அழிவால் இலங்கை தீவானது. ராமா யணம் நடந்து பல ஆயிரம் வருடங்களு க்கு பின்தான். ராமாயணம் என்ற ஒன்று நடந்ததாக கண்டறியப் படுகிறது. அப்போது அவர்களுக்கு குழப்பமாக இருந்தது.
இலங்கையும் இந்தியாவும் தனித்தனியா இருக்கே எப்படி இதெல் லாம் நடந்திருக்கும் என்று.அவர்கள் கற்பனையில் எழுதியதுதான் ராவனன் சிதையை புஷ்பக விமானத்தில் கடத்தியது. ராவனனுக்கு பத்து தலை. இலங்கைக்கு பாலம் கட்டிச் சென்றது, குரங்கு அனுமா னாது. இது எப்படி என்றால் அந்த காலத்தில் காட்டில் வாழும் மிருக ங்களை பயிற்சி கொடுத்து யுத்த கலத்தில் மனிதனோடு அவனுக்கு சமமாக யுத்தம் செய்ய பயன்படுத்தி வந்தார்கள். அப்படித்தான் குரங் குக்கும் நன்கு பயற்சி கொடுத்து யுத்தக்களத்தில் பயன்படுத்தினார்க ள். அதை இவர்கள் அனுமனாகவும் அது இலங்கைக்கு பறந்து, தூது போனதாகவும் ராமரையும் குரங்கையும் கடவுளாக சித்தரிக்கப்பட் டிருக்கிறது.
இந்த கதை எல்லாம் கற்பனையால் பரப்பப்பட்டவை இதையெல் லாம் உண்மை என்று நம்பி கொண்டு ராமர் பாலம். அயோத்தி என்று சண்டை போட்டு கொண்டு இருக்கிறார்கள். அந்த காலத்தில் இந்தி யா என்ற நாடு இல்லை ஒவ்வொரு ஊருக்கும் ஓவொரு அரசன் இருப்பான். இவர்களுக்குள் அடிக்கடி யுத்தம் வரும் அப்படித்தான் ராமாயணமும் நடந்தது . அப்படியே வெள்ளையர்கள் உள்ளே வர வும் எல்லா அரசர்களும் ஒன்றிணைந்து வெள்ளையனை வெளியே ற்ற இந்தியா என்ற நாட்டை உருவாக்கினார்கள். இதுதான் வரலாறு.

Whether Ramayanam is a description of what really happened or is a story full of imagination is a matter for research and debate which is beyond the purview of this site.You can not give final ruling on every matter with the “wisdom” of “Karunanidhi” or of “other D.K fellows” or of other “Christian research scholars” who act as agents of the dangerous christian propaganda/disinformation machinery.
First read the entire Valmiki Ramayanam in full preferably referring to the original sanskrit text and then start talking about Ramayanam.

Ramayana is rated as an undying epic..itihasa for which we give arghyam..water offering, like our Ottis, ancestors, in our brahma yagya.
